For the 2022 LCA National Specialty, I have made a French Rose quilt to be auctioned to offset the cost of Leos being helped by The Merlin Fund Foundation. We currently have two young male tripod Leos that we are helping. As you can imagine the vet bills are huge.
This year we are doing things a bit different to try and get more people involved and can bid without being at the Specialty itself.

Evie is a 7 year old Leonberger. She was a rescue who found her foreverhome and loves doing therapy work. Evie is having trouble with her right rear leg and may need am amputation. Currently she is trying a very expensive mix of drugs to see if she can fight the infection. The drugs alone are over $400 for a months supply. If Evie needs the amputation, the cost is going to be staggering upwards of $4,000.
Unfortunately Evie passed to the rainbow bridge on April 15, 2014. RIP!

Stella is a incredably beautiful Great Pry. She too is a rescue who found her forever home. However, she has bone cancer and had her right rear leg removed on April 12, 2014. We are still trying to raise money for her bill, if you would like to help, please donate below.
5/5/2014 Stella had a very successful surgery and is improving daily. She will need therapy and a little financial help going forward.

This is Kele at 7 months old. Kele was born with the cord wrapped around her right front paw. Unfortunately, it had to be amputated. The Merlin Fund was able to raise the almost $3000 to have a prothesis made for Kele. Her owner is so proud of her and she is doing so well. She too is a therapy dog and visits children with disabilities.

Jack is a beautiful 3 1/2 year old Leonberger. He became very very sick, was at the University of NC for an extended period of time. He had an infection he could not shake. If anyone would like to help Mr. Jack just let us know!
